This Pulsar APX Vaporizer V2 does a great job. It’s my first Vaporizer so I don’t have anything to compare it to but it’s everything I hoped for. I only take 3 or 4 draws each session and the battery stays in the green for 2-3 sessions (4-5 days). I have noticed the mouthpiece get a little hot but this is usually when I’m trying to burn the very last bit of flower. It’s also helpful to keep your lips on the very end of the mouthpiece. I’m coming back to cannabis after 30+ years and really enjoy vaping – it’s clean, easy, and odorless. I highly recommend this product.

easy to say i wasted a good gram of oil on this. did everything they said to do, still didn’t work. actually got clogged. do not suggest at all.

User friendly, total ease of use. Works beautifully. Conduction heating is wonderful. It provides a smooth and flavorful hit. Totally different experience than the traditional combustion method of smoking. Zero carcinogens, no petroleum based chemicals and back-ash flavor. You actually taste your herb. Cleaning is cinch as there is no ash , no tar, only golden-brown dried out remnants that brush out from ceramic chamber. The ceramic chamber (dry’herb chamber) is 3/8″Dia. x 7/8″L. which is a decent bowl full. The unit has the physical feeling of hold a traditional cigarette lighter in the palm of your hand. I find the 425°F temp the most optimal for an easy inhaling draw. I have zero complaints about this product. It’s super stealth with its inconspicuous design . I love it and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for high quality for a reasonably low price. A++++

After a year long layoff from smoking, I decided I wanted to pursue a healthier alternative when taking a trip to cloud 9 lol. The Pulsar APX is my first Vape and it has exceeded all my expectations! This unit has incredible value for its $60 price tag. I’ll admit that there was a bit of a learning curve when I first began using it (I had never used a vape prior to this). I was having a hard time taking nice, solid hits. I was inhaling forcefully at first and that’s not the best way to go about it because doing so results in intense suction that can pull the herb towards the screen and clogs it up. The key is to inhale slowly for about 4-6 seconds. Vapor production is pretty nice on this lil unit. At the two lowest temperature settings, vapor is not quite visible. At 392F you start getting some nice vapor clouds. The more you increase the temp, the bigger the vapor clouds will be. I’ve been impressed by the amazing flavors you get from vaping. At the lower temperatures, you get super flavorful hits. The flavor takes a slight hit as you increase the temp but you still get nice flavor even at the highest temp compared to smoking. Definitely experiment with the temps! Lower temps will give you a mellow high. Higher temps will provide a much more intense high. I prefer to start at 392F with each bowl; I take about 5 hits and then increase to 410 and I’ll eventually finish off with 428F to make sure I use up all the herb. When you’re no longer getting much vapor at 428F, you’ll know it’s done. You’ll also notice a burnt popcorn type of smell and flavor when the herb is nearly all used up. I’ve found that I get the best hits with a moderately packed bowl (about half of the chamber, maybe even a lil over the half way point). Push the herb down slightly with the tweezers so that its packed slightly tight, but not too tight. I usually get 15-20 hits with that amount of herb, which is incredible. With that same amount of herb, I’d probably get 5 hits or so from smoking it. Battery life is okay. I wish it was better but it’s not terrible either. Depending on the temps you’re using, you can expect a full charge to last roughly 10-15 cycles (5 minute cycles – unit turns off after 5 minutes of use) which is more than enough to get pretty high several times. The screens get clogged up pretty quickly, so change them every 5-10 cycles or so to get the best hits possible. That’s where the extra screens come in handy. Cleaning is fairly easy. I just rub the screens with my fingers in a cup of water and the sticky residue comes off fast. The smell produced by vapor is much less noticeable than smoking but it can still smell a bit depending on the strain of herb. Herb with a pungent, skunky, diesel type smell can still be somewhat noticed by someone if you’re vaping indoors. It doesn’t linger for too long though and a little febreze overpowers the subtle smell that’s created. Strains that smell sweet/citrusy/piney will hardly be noticed by someone. So this is definitely a discreet way to medicate without bothering others. Pulsar APX for the win!

This vaper is a revelation. Just works so well. Two issues: The Battery and The Screen. The battery goes from green to orange after one or two sessions. You think the battery is dying at orange. But you can get three good sessions in the orange and another two or three even the red before the thing goes dead. The heating up is minimally slowed as the battery is drained. Very impressive battery life when looked at from charge to no power. The screen needs to be cleaned after one or at most two sessions. I find a plastic toothpick works just perfectly. Every three or four times I take the screen assembly out and soak it in alcohol, then swab with a qtip. Finally, This is a great vaper to take on a hike

This is the best vaporizer in its price range by far. It’s compact, inconspicuous (it looks like a lot of e-cigarettes), you can put anything in it (which is great, especially if you like to switch it up), it’s cute, its charge time is great and is pretty awesome for one person use, EVERYTHING you put in it tastes amazing… waaaaayy better than it tastes out of anything else I’ve tried and feels extra clean. The tools that come with it are super handy too. It gets a little warm if you’re trying to share with friends and makes an incredibly lite buzzing noise (most people have to put it right up to their ear to hear it), so if you have frontal lobe epilepsy triggered by pitched noises like me, I would suggest finding something different if it makes you uncomfortable while you’re waiting for your medicine to kick in. That’s all I have to complain about! It’s awesome! Most of my friends are ordering one because of how much they like it!
