Lookah Dragon Egg Portable Electric Dab Rig
The Lookah Dragon Egg is one of the most popular budget electric dab rigs. Its egg-shaped body puts the battery and quartz coil on top and a bubbler with a rib-shaped percolator on the bottom, so every hit is water-filtered and smooth. A 950mAh battery, 3 voltage settings, an automatic 10-second preheat and a magnetic flip-top carb cap make it easy for beginners, and it is about the size of a soda can.

Lookah Dragon Egg FAQ
Is the Lookah Dragon Egg worth it?
For a first e-rig under $100, yes. You get water filtration from a bottom bubbler with a percolator, a quartz coil, 3 voltage settings and a 950mAh battery in a rig about the size of a soda can. The trade-off is that the quartz coils are consumable and need replacing, about every 1 to 2 weeks with regular use according to Lookah.
How do you use the Lookah Dragon Egg?
Fill the bubbler about one-third with water, open the magnetic flip cap and put a small dab in the center of the coil. Press the button 5 times within 2 seconds to turn it on; it preheats automatically for about 10 seconds. Double-click to choose a voltage, then press and hold the button (up to 30 seconds) while you inhale.
What are the Dragon Egg heat settings?
Double-click to cycle 3 voltages: 1 (green) 3.2V for flavor, 2 (blue) 3.6V for balance and 3 (white) 4.0V for the biggest clouds. The setting number shows on the screen.
What coils does the Dragon Egg use?
It ships with 2 Lookah 710 Type C quartz dish coils and also works with Lookah 710 Type A, B and D quartz coils, so you can choose between flavor and cloud styles.
How often should I replace the Dragon Egg coil?
Lookah says a coil typically lasts 1 to 2 weeks, about 10 days on average. Replace it when the flavor fades, clouds shrink or hits taste burnt. Cleaning the coil after each session and avoiding chain hits helps it last.
Can I put water in the Dragon Egg?
Yes. Unscrew the bottom bubbler and fill it about one-third full. The bubbler sits below the battery, which helps keep water away from the electronics.
How do you clean the Lookah Dragon Egg?
Wipe the coil with a cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol after each use. Soak the glass mouthpiece in ISO, rinse and dry. Clean the plastic bubbler and percolator only with warm soapy water, because alcohol can damage them and turn them cloudy.
How long does the Dragon Egg take to charge?
About 90 minutes from empty to full over USB-C. The screen bars scroll and the light flashes red while charging, and the light turns solid cyan when it is full.
Why is my Dragon Egg blinking or showing an error?
Common causes are a low battery, a loose or worn-out coil, or a short in the coil. Charge it, reseat the coil and try a fresh coil. If the problem continues, contact us for help with your warranty.
Dragon Egg vs Octopus Mini: which should I get?
The Dragon Egg is the bigger of the two, with a 950mAh battery and a larger bottom bubbler. The Octopus Mini is a pocket-size mini rig with a 600mAh battery, a 910 quartz coil and 3 temperature settings from about 464 to 572 degrees F. Pick the Egg for battery and bigger water hits, or the Octopus for the smallest size.
What comes in the box?
The Lookah Dragon Egg, 2 Lookah 710 Type C quartz dish coils and a user manual.
