The Firefly 2 vaporizer is designed in such a way that maintenance is rarely needed in comparison to other vapes. Approximately every 15-20 sessions, 30 seconds of cleaning is required. ALWAYS make sure the Firefly 2 has cooled down completely before cleaning.

As with the other reviews, it takes a bit to get used to this unit, but it works well when you know what to do.
While it’s efficient and fast, it does have some flaws:
As a long-time Wispr user, I had to use the concentrates temperature setting to get a similar result, as all the lower settings didn’t produce decent vapour or consume the mix fully. While this is ok, the manuals suggest this setting is only for concentrates, which I found misleading and inaccurate.
The lack of an external charger means you can only charge the batteries when they’re in the unit. An external charger would be far more flexible and useful.
The vapour path gets dirty very quickly, so I found myself cleaning it a lot more often than the Wispr. However, this is almost balanced by the easy cleaning process, You’ll need a supply of isopropyl alcohol.
Overall, a good, but not great, product, and worth perhaps 1/2 to 2/3of the quite steep price.

I’ve had this for about a week and I love it. My only gripe is that the unit itself is very slippery. Wish there was some sort of grip. Especially when trying to change out the battery. I’m always afraid I’m going to drop it!

Hands down best vaporizer ever. Took 4 days to get to me but shipping was free so can’t complain. Vaporizer was bought for my mj herbs and wax shatter. Dabbing with the Firefly 2, was actually surprised. The Firefly 2 vaporizer dabs very exceptional, and I’m very impressed.

I own a crafty, PAX 2, Da Buddha, MFLB- pretty much tried everything but this is completely different to these. This gives you instant heat and vapour if you have the right technique- amazing flavour. This works really well with the mesh screen on top of your herb like a spacer. Good for solo use and quick hits, this is not a vape I would use to share and so different to a crafty or PAX where they just keep baking your herb. I love my PAX but this firefly has its place – my favourite instant heat vape.

Fantastic! I first tried a Crafty, which I found clunky and inconvenient. The Firefly 2 is quick, easy to use, and provides excellent vape. I’ve seen many comments about a “knack” or “trick” to using it – not my experience. Smart engineering, elegant design, and a delight to use.

I have been looking for a vape like this for the in demand heating. I have a Mighty (which i love) but that takes some time to heat up and i always feel obligated to finish the session, which can be up to 10mins long. The Firefly 2 allows me pick it up, take a few draws and put it down again. Perfect for intermissions in whatever you are doing at the time. This vape took a few days to figure out how to use is properly, so be patient with it. Once you master it, you will be blowing huge, satisfying clouds of amazing tasting vapor! Even a bowl left from the night before still tastes good! The battery life will get you about 10-15 x10sec draws so its pretty poor, but the charger makes it a non issue if you have it nearby. This vape needs to be cleaned very frequently, but it is quite easy and will only take a few minutes, so that is also a non issue.
