Overall a good vape with some glaring problems.
Pros: Sleek, stylish. I like that you can load a small amount and can take a puff and put it down without heating your whole bowl.
Cons: Experienced some combustion on higher settings. Battery life is not the greatest, but it charges reasonably fast. The biggest issue I have with this product is when using the app it requires location to be switched on in order to use. I don’t personally like to be tracked when vaping. Firefly should really fix this.

I have owned a Silver Surfer for about 7 years now, and i also regularly use the Crafty, and the Arizer Air. The Firefly is my favorite out of these. When i first bought it there were 6 temps, now just by upgrading the app you now have power-tuning, which means if medium isnt “medium” enough for you etc, you can adjust the temp. Even normally a 420 F degree hit is so smooth. Add the ability to swap batteries, and the ease of hitting it, it feels more like my SSV than it feels like a Crafty or Pax, because it is only vaping your herbs when you tell it to, rather than all the time (like a bowl vs a j for example). I love all of these devices but even though its built for portability, this is my daily driver lately, and i really love this thing. And the 45 min recharge is awesome!!

Fantastic top shelf vaporiser. It takes a little while to learn the proper technique for appropriately packing the chamber and drawing from. For tips on how to perfect the technique, i recommend looking at The Vape Critic’s video on youtube. The vapour production from this unit is very decent and smooth and in my opinion the taste can’t be matched by any other vape. Worth every penny!!
