Description
Softglass Core Hand Pipe
Softglass Core Hand Pipe
The Softglass Core Hand Pipe is engineered for the everyday user who refuses to compromise on quality or comfort. Constructed from thick borosilicate glass — the same heat-resistant material used in laboratory equipment — this hand pipe delivers clean, pure draws session after session. Unlike standard glass pipes, the Core integrates silicone accents directly into the design, providing an ergonomic hold, shock absorption, and a layer of protection that extends the life of the piece.
Every detail has been considered. A dedicated silicone foot keeps the pipe stable on any surface, preventing tip-overs between sessions. The included bowl cap lets you extinguish embers with a simple cover and also helps mask odors when you’re on the move. A stowable metal tool slides away neatly when not in use, making it easy to clear spent material without hunting for a separate dabber or pick. It all comes packaged with a form-fitting silicone cover for added protection during transport.
The Softglass Core Hand Pipe measures 4″ × 2.5″ — a purposeful size that feels natural in the hand without sacrificing bowl capacity. Choose from four distinct colorways: Onyx (black), Pistachio (soft green), Cerulean (sky blue), and Sienna (warm terracotta). Each colorway pairs the borosilicate glass with matching silicone accents for a cohesive, polished look.

Keeping it Clean
Keeping it Clean
Regular cleaning is the single best thing you can do to extend the life of any glass pipe, and the Core makes it straightforward. For the borosilicate glass, a mixture of sea salt and at least 70% isopropyl alcohol breaks down resin quickly without scratching the surface. For the silicone components, wipe with 70% isopropyl alcohol, rinse with water, and allow to dry fully before reassembly. Consistent upkeep after every few sessions prevents heavy buildup, keeps draws tasting fresh, and preserves the clarity of the glass over time
Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Core Hand Pipe made of?
The bowl and body are made from thick borosilicate glass, a heat-resistant glass known for its durability and clean flavor. Silicone accents are integrated around the body for grip and protection.
What size is the Core Hand Pipe?
It measures 4″ long by 2.5″ wide — compact enough to hold comfortably in one hand, sized generously enough for a satisfying bowl.
What comes in the box?
Each Core Hand Pipe ships with one Silicone Cover for protection and one Metal Tool for clearing spent material from the bowl.
What colors does it come in?
The Core Hand Pipe is available in four colorways: Onyx (black), Pistachio (soft green), Cerulean (sky blue), and Sienna (warm terracotta).
Can I use a torch lighter with this pipe?
No. Softglass products are not designed for use with torch-style lighters. Standard butane flame lighters work perfectly.
How do I clean the Softglass Core Hand Pipe?
For the borosilicate glass, use a mixture of sea salt and at least 70% isopropyl alcohol, then rinse thoroughly. For the silicone components, wipe with 70% isopropyl alcohol and rinse with water, allowing the silicone to dry fully before reassembly. Note that alcohol may temporarily cause minor silicone expansion — this is normal.
What does the bowl cap do?
The silicone bowl cap serves a dual purpose: it extinguishes embers by cutting off airflow after a session, and it helps contain odors when you’re storing or carrying the pipe.
Is the Softglass Core Hand Pipe part of a larger collection?
Yes. It belongs to the Softglass Core Collection, which focuses on durable, everyday-use pieces that combine borosilicate glass construction with practical silicone accents.
