If you are looking for a portable (quality) vaporizer, a person new to the practice will be satisfied first with the value and second the performance of such an affordable unit. Rest assured that the price shouldn’t be a deterrent as the Pulsar APX performs as well as top shelf pieces that require a heavy hit on the pocket book. I value quality and satisfaction as my top priorities relating to purchases. I am confident that anyone obtaining the Pulsar APX will experience those priorities as well.

I am very happy with Pulsar APX 2. Being a 1st time vaporizer, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on something I might not continue to use. I wanted a pure convection vaporizer even at the lower price point. All the downsides mentioned in other reviews do not apply to me. I am the sole user, so warm-up time and time between multiple draws isn’t a problem for me. It is small and discrete. Recharging isn’t an issue…since I only use the unit at night, I just re-charge it during the day. Cleaning the screens is a breeze…just a short soak pure isopropyl alcohol and a good rinse in water and they’re good to go. The draw is easy and I love that my bedroom doesn’t smell like herb anymore. The chamber is easy to clean out. I also love that it’s a small chamber that you don’t have to fill completely. I put in enough for one use and that’s all. This vaporizer meets all my needs, although for a heavy user, it would be better to buy a unit that had a bigger chamber. However, this unit was the perfect choice for me. It is very simple to use. It took me some experimenting to figure out the best heat setting for me, but that’s about it.

I’m completely new to vaping but I’m impressed in a good way with the APX. Easy to load and operate. Hold enough charge. Feels nice in the hand. Well constructed. Easy to set temperature. I can taste the floral notes of the herb better with the APX than with a pipe. Only thing odd I find (and maybe ’cause I’m new to vaping) is that drawing deep can be a little difficult. But overall I really like it.
Have used it about eight times now. Cleanout is easy cause it comes with a little brush and other tools.
Unlike a pipe or joint, this vaporizer won’t let you get your smoke too hot which often sending me into a coughing fit. So put that in the plus column.
Overall I really like it. I think it’s a great value. I haven’t used the pipe since I got the APX.

I’m just getting use to the fact that I’m never sure if I get anything – which is probably a good thing. I am not complaining – I do not miss the coughing. I do have a complaint though, you have to sign for the package when it comes. As I was not home the package was sitting at a local post office for couple of days before I could go pick it up.

This pen is amazing!!! by far the best thing to get on a budget. the vape is small and compact, great for on the go smoking, The battery is not so great. it dies quickly.

Bought the apx on 4/20 worked good except for sucking up herb covering the screen. Placed a pipe screen over the herb helped a lot. Also drilled a small hole in the center of the spacer also helped draw more vapor. Only problem after 6 months having a switch problem not coming on after the 5 hits to trun it on. Hope they fixed this new model.

This is my first experience purchasing & using a vaporizer. I feel like I got a really good first vaporizer for the price! The only downside is that the battery does not hold the charge for very long (but it does recharge pretty quickly), and the screen gets pretty clogged up, and has to be cleaned after almost every use. But I am enjoying vaping much more than smoking with a pipe. (No more crappy aftertaste, and no more irritated throat or coughing!). I would recommend this, as this is one of the most reasonable price for what you get!
