G Pen Elite 2 Review

The G Pen Elite 2 Vaporizer by Grenco Science – the ultimate dry herb vaporizer with advanced technology and exceptional vapor quality. Hybrid Heat

The dual heating technology offers a refined vaporization with full temperatures from 200º to 430ºF (93º – 221ºC). Precisely choose the temperature as you wish for the ideal session.

It uses a patented conduction and convection system with a fully ceramic heating chamber for the greatest hits and best vapor. Conduction is used for initial heat up in the oven, then the convection system kicks in with draw activation.

TFT Full Display

The Elite comes with a full colour, high resolution display for easy access and great control. Customize the interface, change session duration, heating method and more. This excellent feature allows for in depth personalization so you can vape exactly the way you want to.

Best Vapor

The durable zirconia mouthpiece has an integrated spiraling airpath piece for cooling the vapor. This added cooling will keep the vapor at just the right contact temperature so it’s not too hot. The mouthpiece cap is also magnetic for easy loading and cleaning.

Boost Mode

One of the standout features is convection boost mode for an extra burst of heat during your sessions for high vapor. This feature is perfect for those who prefer dense clouds and potency.

Clean & Custom Air Intake

The airpath is isolated from internal electronics for the purest draw. You can be sure that vapor will never come into contact with glues or circuits and cause damage.

Unlike many other dry herb vaporizers, the Elite has air holes to function as a built in carb. It’s ergonomically located right at the thumb grip so you can comfortably control the amount of airflow as you wish.

Extra Accessories

The silicone sleeve can be used to reduce scratching, helps with holding the mouthpiece cap, and allows for better grip. Smaller devices tend to get hot during high temperature sessions as it has less room for heat dissipation. The silicone case will help with keeping things cool and isolating the heat.

Another great bonus is the built in poking tool at the bottom for packing and cleaning the oven on the go. Works great in a pinch without having to search for a tool or getting your hands messy. It also comes packed in a sturdy travel case for storage.

Quick Start

1. Fully charge the device with the USB C charging cable
2. Remove the mouthpiece and load chamber with herb, use pick tool located at bottom if preferred. Place the mouthpiece back on
3. Press and hold power button (circle) for 3 seconds to power on/off
4. Use + and – button to set temperature
5. Press power button twice to begin/cancel heat up.
6. The screen will display the temperature gauge increasing as it reaches the chosen setting. Once complete and ready for use, the LED light will blink green and device will vibrate twice.
7. Inhale slowly through the mouthpiece for the best draw.

Access Settings Menu

Press the button 5 times. Press + and – to move up and down through options, press power to select settings. Change screen brightness, select boost mode, session timer, haptic feedback, °F/°C unit, and update firmware.

Cleaning Tips

1. Only clean your device when it is powered off and cool to the touch.
2. Soak a cotton swab with ISO alcohol and clean the screen, silicone insert and mouthpiece hole.
3. For a deep clean, soak all components of the insert along with the mouthpiece cap in ISO.
4. After soaking, rinse thoroughly with water and air dry.
5. Reassemble all parts and attach cap back onto device.
6. Start a session with nothing loaded at the maximum heat to burn off ISO residue.

G Pen Elite vs Elite 2 - What's Different?

Several new features have been added to the G Pen Elite 2 with advancements compared to the Original Elite (2016). 

Faster Charge: The Elite 2 has quick charging with modern USB-C, charging fully in 90 minutes. The original took up to 2-3 hours for a full battery, which may be too long for some.

Bigger, Better Screen: The onscreen display has been moved from the side of the body to the front. The LCD screen is brighter and clearer with full colour support now. There are also more functionality controls available here as well.

New Mouthpiece: The new Elite 2 has mouthpiece made from zirconia, a durable ceramic glass material which doesn’t get hot. It looks great and has great function by magnetically snapping in place. The older Elite had used rubber which frequently got too hot during long and high temp vaping sessions.

Optimized Oven Shape: The oven shape is no longer in a oval shape and is now circular. The round shape allows for balanced heating and easier cleaning.
