The IQC vaporizer by DaVinci’ is their newest innovative design with clean first technology. The IQC vape sports a sandblasted aluminum shell, giving it a more rugged, rough feel. The sealed zirconia/glass airpath was created without metal or plastic parts to deliver connoisseurs unprecedented purity and flavour.  The IQC is slightly larger and heavier than the original DaVinci IQ as it comes with extra battery insulation and a thicker oven.

The Davinci IQC is the latest of the Davinci IQ series vaporizers. It is the successor to the Davinci IQ2- taking its strengths but solving the design flaws of the previous version.

The major improved features are its compact size, the USB-C charging port, removable battery, reverse charging ability (it can be used as a charging block), improved lids (tighter seal over the heating chamber), improved lid and door hinges, and more secure magnetic mouthpiece.

You can expect the same performance and battery life that is IQ2 offered, with none of the flaws of the previous version.

How to use the Davinci IQC

The Davinci is ergonomic and user friendly, the design interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. There are only 3 main navigation buttons.

To turn on or off, press the control button 5 times continuously, and it will vibrate when on, as it has haptic feedback. It will display the battery status icon to let you know how fully charged the device is.

Next, the user has the option to select either Smart Paths or Precision Mode.

Smart Paths – IQC DaVinci has 4 built in Smartpaths. These are 8 minute long presets which feature a unique selection of pre-configured temperatures , starting off low and increasing throughout the session, each at a different rhythm.

You can use the Davinci App to customize The Smart Paths, and even create your own unique versions. This means you can have your preferred vaping temperatures saved and on command. It saves you from having to manually dial it in every time.

To switch to Precision Mode, just hit the Control button once, followed by the Up button. To adjust the temperature in precision mode, use the up and down buttons. Once the device has heated up to your temperature you’ll know because the device will vibrate to let you know it’s ready.

For the Boost feature: Press and hold the control button – it will automatically boost the current temperature all the way to 210 degrees. To keep the Boost feature active just press the up or down button, otherwise, the temperature will automatically cool back down to the previous temperature.

To shut the device down, press the control button 5 times continuously. Otherwise, the device will shut down automatically after 2 minutes of idling.

Check the battery by pressing the up and down buttons together simultaneously.

Our Davinci IQC Review

The Davinci IQC follows in the footsteps of the previous models with a stylish and eye catching design. The design feature that sets this model apart is the LED grid array – so, instead of an LED digital display, we have a central vertical column of 51 stacked mini LED lights that light up and displays the current temperature as the Davinci heats up.

Around the same size as the PAX, the Davinci fits in the palm of your hand, and very comfortably into any pocket. It’s smaller than the IQ2, larger than the Davinci Micro, and it looks like it could be mistaken for a high end charging block. At this size, it will not draw any attention to you if you use it in public.

We give it a high score for portability and discreetness.

With a thick and durable build, it’s a great vaporizer for outdoor adventures. We think that this is an excellent feature- you wouldn’t need to worry about puncturing the LED screen or damaging it if you are active while riding your bike, canoeing, or anything else where you’re on the go.

We love the Smart Paths presets, and find it a refreshing and user friendly feature. It’s great that there is significant app connectivity, but that you can also just as easily use it in manual mode as well. Another unexpected thing about the Davinci is that the bowl size is decent, making it a great vaporizer to share with a group and pass around the room.

How do you hit the Davinci Iqc?

First power on the unit by quickly pressing the Control button 5 times.  The unit will adjust the heating to the last temperature that was used. The lights will start to blink until the unit reached the last temperature.  When the lights stop blinking, its ready to use!  Take a draw off the mouthpiece as desired.  When you are finished using the unit, quickly press the Control button 5 times to power off.

Is the Davinci IQ 2 worth it? – Davinci IQC vs IQ2

Any true connoisseur will appreciate the quality and design of the DaVnci lineup of vaporizers.  The biggest difference in our opinion is the USB-C charging of the ICQ vs the IQ 2.  We appreciate the innovation and see the trend of our customers moving toward the ICQ with the faster charging.
