Arizer Air 2, Portable, Powerful, And Efficient
The Arizer Air 2 offers a satisfying upgrade from the original Arizer Air that became incredibly popular (and still is) upon release. The Air 2 heats dried herb with a hybrid conduction/convection method that Arizer has been using in their systems since the beginning. Although shape and size are very similar to the Arizer Air, the Arizer Air 2 offers a small LED temperature and battery display as well as buttons to control the temperature more effectively than its predecessor.
Another improvement upon the original Air is that the Arizer Air 2 has 50% more battery capacity than Arizer Air. The Arizer Air 2 also has a removable battery which is ideal if a charged-up spare is on hand. The ability to change batteries on-the-go allows the Arizer Air 2 to become a handy companion during almost any activity or travel. The precise controls that allow temperature experimentation and maximum efficiency are an essential feature, one that allows users to find their own specific sweet spot.
The built-in customizable timer ensures that the battery is only in use when it needs to be. This timer is adjustable from 5-15 minutes in one-minute intervals. The Arizer Air 2 can also be charged by micro-USB, making charging at work or during class an easy option. As well as offering two charging options (wall and USB), the Arizer Air 2 is also usable, while charging, after about five minutes. An excellent option if remembering to charge-up is not a number one priority.
Finally, the Arizer Air 2 is a vaporizer that will suit a significant range of consumers, no matter your tolerance, experience, or ability to use new technology. This is a simple design coupled with high functionality and no added gimmicks. Consequently, users simplify their vaping experience with the Arizer Air 2. The Air 2 is one of the easiest vaporizers on the market to use while providing excellent efficiency. Not to mention a powerful battery and heating system. Vapor from the Air 2 will always have the distinct Arizer quality and flavour.

How To Use The Arizer Air 2
When you receive the Air 2 it is wise to fully charge it before running it at full temperature for one cycle. This will ensure no residue during the manufacturing or shipping process will remain in the vaporizer. The best kind of dried herb to use with the Arizer Air 2 is a medium-coarse grind. City Vaporizer stocks a range of grinders that will ensure the best vapor.
Next, pack the dried herb into a glass stem. Turn the Air 2 on by holding down the Menu button and input the desired temperature. The heads-up-display shows the current and desired temperature which is controlled by the Up and Down buttons. The temperature of a vaporizer entirely depends on what kinds of vapor the individual wants. Lower temperatures produce flavourful hits and higher temperatures are great for vaping on the go.
City Vaporizer offers an FAQ page with many resources concerning vaporizer temperatures and finding the correct one.
A 2-3 second push on the Menu button turns the Arizer Air 2 off. The rechargeable battery can be charged via micro-USB and used after approximately five minutes of charging. The size of the Air 2 means it can fit into most small cases/bags made for vapes.
An included aromatherapy attachment allows the Arizer Air 2 to become a portable diffuser, extremely useful if the smell of vapor is a concern. Lavender, potpourri, and lemongrass are some of the most popular and provide a relaxing scent.

Why Purchase An Arizer Air 2?
As well as power and portability, the Arizer Air 2 offers decent customization. Â The brightness of the heads-up-display, temperature display units (Celsius or Fahrenheit), and audio notifications are all customizable. These aesthetic tools are a compliment to this vaporizer’s temperature increase function that allows 1 or 10-degree increments.
Furthermore, the Arizer Air 2 offers and increased airflow compared to its predecessor. Any type of user will be pleased with the quality ofvapor produced on long slow draws or quick puffs on the go. The taste of Arizer vapor will become a favourite for many. The boro-silicate glass used in the Air 2’s stems will never expand or warp due to heat.
Compared to the original Arizer Air, the Air 2 signifies an evolving vape culture. This shift sees individuals who vape becoming more aware of specific temperatures and battery life. Consequently, the Arizer Air 2 has recognized the small deficiencies present in the original. For this reason, a removable battery also allows for extra batteries to be charged and ready-to-go. High Times Magazine also ranked the Arizer Air 2 in their top portable vaporizers.
Additionally, this portable vaporizer is noticeably easy to clean and maintain. Canadian manufacturer Arizer is a well-known company that places customer satisfaction as a number one priority. Their support page is full of useful tips, videos, and a contact email address.
How To Clean The Arizer Air 2
As with many Arizer products, the Arizer Air 2 is a breeze to clean and maintain.
- The glass stems will need the most cleaning out of the entire device. This is surprising considering the Air 2 has a heating chamber within the unit.
- Soak the glass stems, once dirty, in isopropyl alcohol for 10-12 hours.
- The heating chamber may become sticky with residue over time. A cotton swab and isopropyl alcohol provide a solution to this problem.
- After cleaning, the Arizer Air 2 should be run on the hottest heating cycle (a burn-off) for one session. This safeguards against any rubbing alcohol getting into contact with the dried herb.
- Arizer Air 2 offers the ability to heat up while charging, presenting enough time  to clean the unit and burn-off the isopropyl.
City Vaporizer also stocks the Higher Standards Cleaning Kit, a fantastic companion to the Arizer Air 2. Cleaning and maintaining your vaporizer is first and foremost to an efficient, long-lasting unit.

My order was exactly as expected and delivered very quickly. Very happy with the Air II, battery life is not as good as advertised but on the whole a very satisfied customer 🙂

I like how it has a removable 18650 battery which can easily be swapped out for a fully charged one, micro usb charging port and customizable settings for the auto shut off timer,OLED brightness and beep volume.
I also have a Flowermate V5.0s pro and the Arizer is a little easier to load up and has less parts to clean and produces a bit more vapour on each draw than the flowermate. i find the 6min auto shut off a little too short on the flowermate which will sometimes turn off without you realising where’s the Arizer can be set to 15min and will beep to let you know its powered off.
The Flowermate does however come with a little pod for use with waxes/oils which the Arizer doesn’t , but i have never used it for that.

Better battery life, faster heatup time, replacable battery. Hard to find a better portable vape than this.

A gorgeous vape, nice flavor, fast heating and charging, great for individual use and for groups. Fragile glass pieces though

I upgraded from the original Arizer Air and its a noticable improvement. Precise temperature control is nice, and vapor production is better along with airflow. In my experience vapor production with lower tempatures is better as opposed to the original as well.

I read and watched many reviews and narrowed down to the Air 2 or Solo 2. I wanted precise temperature control and an all glass vapor path. Minimal vapor contact was important as well, I didn’t want long complicated tubes or pathways, the DaVinci looked very nice but the 100% conduction put me off and what the point of a flavor chamber which just thieves some of the vapor as it passes by.
My main gripe with the Air 2 is it’s capability to maintain a constant temperature (aka heating element power). When I select and set a temperature it begins the preheat process slowly counting up until it reaches the set target temp. Once it reaches that target, the display will indicate and hold that number for example 195 or 205 C. Leading the user to believe that this is the temperature it is holding internally. However, shortly after I begin taking a draw, I press down either temp + or – to set the target temp again. The unit then begins showing the *actual* temperature of the heating element as it would during the preheating process. As it attempts to reach the set target temperature again.
I’ve set it as high as 220 C and watched as I draw; the temperature gauge dips all the way to the low 190’s or even touches the 180’s. This would be due to the cooling effect of the air being drawn through the heating element. Only if I slow my draw significantly is the heater able to somewhat maintain its temperature. BUT it’s never able to maintain the set temperature, it’s always lower by about 20 degrees at least.
I find it interesting that not one review I’ve read indicates this. Maybe this is not an accurate representation of how it is functioning but I see no reason that it wouldn’t be. The preheating process seems to show an accurate temperature, as it takes long when the battery is low or if the glass stem is cold and inserted during pre heating – it takes much longer to reach target temp.
I’ve heard the Solo 2 is more powerful but as there was no indication this would be an issue, I chose the smaller unit with changeable battery.
Vapor quality is very good, I prefer using a fine grind with the screen, although a course grind is recommended I find it doesn’t really have powerful clouds – especially with the heating element at below temp.
This is a really nicely design vape, it’s simple to operate, feels great in the hand, and the changeable standard issue batteries ensure that it will be a good vape for many years to come.
