Quick Start

1. Choose your adapter, attach the coil, and install it onto your water pipe:

   • Connect the nail accessory (titanium or quartz) to the heating element, ensuring the adapter piece of the nail screws onto the heat shield.
   • Slide the bowl piece of the nail through the heating element and attach the heat shield.
   • Make sure the heating element and nail are securely attached to your glass rig.

2. Connect the heater coil to the controller unit:

   • Plug the connector on the heating element into the port on the back panel of the MiniNail controller.
   • Double-check that the MiniNail is powered off at this point to avoid any accidental heating.

3. Power on the control unit:

   • Plug the power cord into the MiniNail controller and then into an outlet.
   • Your electric dab rig is now ready for use.

Using the Mini Nail for the First Time:

• The up and down buttons on the Mini Nail controller allow you to adjust the set temperature, which will flash on the display.
• Once the set temperature is displayed, don’t press any more buttons for 5 seconds, as the display will then revert to the current temperature.
• You can try experimenting with “cold-start” dabs, where you load the concentrate onto the nail first and then start heating, to preserve more terpenoids.

Powering the Mini Nail On and Off:

• Powering on the Mini Nail takes about 3 minutes, during which the LED display will show a negative number that will then start to rise, and the HEAT LED will flash.
• When powering off, the entire power-down process can take up to 10 minutes, as the coil needs to reach room temperature before the Mini Nail is completely off.

Additional Tips:

• Connect your Mini Nail to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for an enhanced user experience.
• Keep Q-tips and distilled water on hand to swab the nail after each dab, as distilled water works better than isopropyl alcohol for cleaning.
