Focus V CARTA Sport

The CARTA Sport is Focus V’s new version of the CARTA Classic. This new electric dab rig has great new accessories. This includes the CARTA Connect and a Control Stick. It also comes with a bigger battery and a Black CARTA Glass Top.

The new, removable CARTA Connect is an air path system that enhances the airflow when you inhale. It fixes reclaim issues to help you get the most from your product. It also makes cleaning your device easier as it is completely removable. We have attached a photo below for reference. 

The air path (CARTA Connect) is removable for simple cleaning. You can put it in the freezer for 10 minutes and use the Loading Tool to scrape off any leftover concentrates.

The Sport also has a new Control Stick. It includes a carb cap for better airflow and taste.

This design heats the product better than before. They make the stick from strong glass and add textured silicone for a better grip. The Control Stick works with all Intelli-Core atomizers and all tethers.

The CARTA Sport has one button, so you don’t need an OLED screen. The battery is also 35% bigger than the CARTA 2 for more dabs per hour. The software now has a longer battery life of up to 50 days per charge.

CARTA Sport: First Look

I have wanted to get my hands on the CARTA Sport ever since I heard about its release a couple of months ago. The price is a great value and is better priced than some other high-end e-rigs.

I will tell you my thoughts based on how this device performs, how it looks, and new features from Focus V.

When I first open the box, I see the waterproof travel bag. It has a new water-resistant finish and comes with a strap, so it’s easy to carry around.

The device has the regular Intelli-Core atomizer, not the Intelli-Core MAX. It also includes a silicone plug for the mouthpiece. The new gray glass mouthpiece is also new, compared to their other models that come with clear glass. I prefer the gray looking glass, as you can’t see the buildup and gunk as much as the standard clear glass.

Usage & Style

One of the first things I noticed on the device is that there is only one button, unlike their other CARTA devices. This makes it simple to use for new users, and you can still use the Focus V App to adjust your settings. You don’t have to use the app, you can turn on the device without having to connect your phone.

Some of the new accessories include the CARTA Connect and the Control Stick. The Connect is their new silicone removable air path.

Other electric dab rigs don’t have this feature, making cleaning more difficult. I usually dread cleaning my rigs, but this completely changes the game. Here is a photo of the new CARTA Connect:

How it Performs

After I turned on the device, I set it to the lowest temperature setting. Like their other devices, the Sport produces good clouds of vapor, with a clean taste and smooth smoke. It hits better than some of the more expensive devices I have tried.

The atomizer heats fast and even, so I don’t waste what I am putting inside. This is for sure one of the best e-rigs I have tried.

Is It Worth It?

What you get for the price is a great value! The Sport is easy to use, easy to travel with, well-designed, and works well. New features like the CARTA Connect make the Sport easy to clean and provide a nicer air path than before.

Final Thoughts

The CARTA Sport from Focus V amazes me. It has a great price, is easy to use, is great for travel, and is perfect for new users as well as those used to e-rigs. I like that it has one button and you don’t need to memorize which buttons do what.

I expected nothing less from Focus V. I’m excited to explore the app and its custom options even further.

Quick Start

• Download the Focus V app ‘V Browser’ for custom control.
• Click the button 5 times to turn on/off
• The device will vibrate, letting you know it is on/off
• Double click to start the session
• Double click to extend the session by 10 seconds
• Single click to end the session
• LED will change to orange when heating
• Three clicks to cycle through the 5 presets
• One click to see which preset you have selected
• The LED color will change based on the preset you select 
• Four clicks will show you the battery light/level
• Click four times and hold the fourth click down to enable Low Power Mode
