Arizer Solo 2 Review
Arizer Solo 2 Review
The Solo 2 vaporizer is an excellent, high-quality home/portable vaporizer that offers everyone, beginner or expert an experience they won’t soon forget.
New and Improved
Arizer is a well-liked vaporizer brand, and many were excited about the new solo after the success of the original Arizer Solo. They were not disappointed as the Solo 2 was even better than expected! People who use it are surprised with how it makes such flavorful and great vapor from a small convection heating device.
Faster Better Heat Source
The Arizer Solo 2 offers precise temperature control with its powerful heater. It has a much faster heating time, enabling a quick hit while on the move or when short of time.
It will produce thick, heavy hot air vapor clouds that maintain the full flavor of any dried herb. Long, slow draws produce the best vapor with this device. It can hold up to 0.25 grams of herb in the chamber. Please be aware that the heating element for the Solo 2 carries a lifetime warranty, and a 2-year warranty for the device itself.
Pure Vapor
The Solo 2 is a top-of-the-line portable vaporizer that offers exceptional vapor quality. The ceramic heating element will allow efficient and even heating of your dry herbs. The vapor is then drawn through the glass aroma tube, which provides a pure and flavorful vapor experience.
The glass mouthpiece stems are made from borosilicate glass that won’t emit any toxic fumes. This enables fully flavored, clean, and satisfying hits every single time.
Slim Design
Improving the heating time of the original Solo, the Solo 2 is also slightly slimmer while having an easier pull. The light design with the fast heat time has been welcomed by many. With a weight of just 222g (0.49lb) added with a modern design, it has a high-end feel while still being very affordable.
For an even lighter vape, check out the Arizer Air MAX. Also please check out the Arizer Solo 2 Max, which is the next gen model of the Solo 2.
Endless Battery
The battery life is long for a portable unit and for three hours of vaping (or 8-10 sessions) once fully charged. To save battery, the device also has an auto shutoff option that you can change and return the device to room temperature.
When the battery runs out, you can still vape with a plugged-in Solo 2 after five mins of charging. Some users opt to purchase the Solo 2 car charger, for the added ease of charging on the go.
Flexability
To use it with a water pipe, the Arizer Solo 2 is compatible if you have a water pipe adapter for that smooth water cooled vapor. The glass vapor path is fully away from the electronics so that only pure and untainted vapor is produced. The Solo 2 also has accessories like the belt clip for on-the-go vaping.
The Arizer Solo 2 Is Incredibly Easy To Clean & Maintain
Cleaning the Solo 2 is so easy. The glass stems will require almost all of the cleaning. Dried herb or residue must be cleared from the oven after use.
We recommended soaking glass stems in isopropyl alcohol overnight once dirty
If the heating chamber is sticky with residue, a cotton swab with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol should be enough to get rid of it
After cleaning the stems and heating chamber, insert a clean stem then run the hottest session cycle until the alcohol smell is gone.
*The Solo 2 parts fit in the carry case, which also protects the device while on the move. The stem caps keeps your dried herb inside.

FAQ
FAQ
• Is the Arizer Solo 2 Worth it?
Absolutely, you’ll see that confirmed in all Arizer Solo 2 reviews, on any blog or website. This vaporizer carries the same prestige as any other Arizer product. There is an included two year warranty from Arizer’s promises to have quality products and customer service. With free shipping anywhere in Canada and The United States, packages generally arrive within 5 business days.
• Does the Arizer Solo 2 smell?
Not any more or less than any portable vaporizer. The Solo 2 accessories such as the Cannabis Killer or Smoke Eliminator work great to mask the smell.
• How long does a bowl last for the Arizer Solo 2?
The temperature, herb grind density, and packing density will all affect how long your bowl will last. As a rule of thumb, it is always better to vape by turning the heat up as you go along. Starting at a high temperature will create a lot of vapor. You may not be able to inhale all of it before exhaling.
It is a good idea to stir between pulls to for even roasting of your herb. These guidelines will help you get the most out of your herb.
• What temperature should the Solo 2 be set at?
There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to the recommended temperature to vape at. Each temperature range has a different effect and experience. If you haven’t already tried, you should try different temps and see what works best for you.
The basic approach is to start lower, and gradually raise. If you’re vaping dry herb, we recommend starting lower at 350 and turn it up in 25 degree increments until you reach 400. If you are using through water, like with a Solo 2 bubbler, then aim for a higher range at 390-428.
Lower temps will preserve flavor but will limit the amount of vapor produced. At higher temps more cannabinoids and terpenes are heated, and this will give you bigger clouds but it will remove some of the flavor.
Quick Start Guide
Quick Start Guide
Step 1: Charging the Device
Before you can start using your Arizer Solo 2, you’ll need to charge the battery. The device comes with a USB charging cable that you can connect to a power source.
Connect one end of the cable to the charging port on your device. Connect the other end to a USB power adapter or computer. The LED lights on the device will indicate the charging progress. Once fully charged, you’re ready to move on to the next step.
Step 2: Preparing the Herb Chamber
The Solo 2 features a ceramic herb chamber that provides even heat distribution for optimal vaporization. To prepare the herb chamber, simply remove the glass stem from the device by gently pulling it out. Grind your dry herbs to a medium-fine consistency and load them into the chamber. Be sure not to overpack the chamber to allow for proper airflow and optimal vapor path.
Step 3: Powering On the Device
To power on the Solo 2, press and hold the “M” button and the up arrow button simultaneously for a few seconds. The device will beep and the OLED screen will display the Arizer logo. Once the device is powered on, you can adjust the temperature settings to your desired level.
Step 4: Adjusting the Temperature
The Solo 2 offers precise temperature control, allowing you to customize your vaping experience. Use the up and down arrow buttons to adjust the temperature. The OLED screen will display the current temperature and the desired temperature. It’s recommended to start at a lower temperature and gradually increase it to find your preferred setting.
Step 5: Enjoying Your Vaping Session
Once you have set the desired temperature, wait for the device to heat up. The OLED screen will indicate when the device has reached the set temperature. Once heated, insert the glass stem back into the device and take a slow, steady draw from the mouthpiece. The Arizer Solo 2 will deliver smooth and flavorful vapor, allowing you to savor every puff.
Step 6: Cleaning and Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Solo 2, regular cleaning and maintenance are essential. After each vaping session, remove the glass stem and empty out any remaining material. Use a cleaning brush or a cotton swab to remove any residue from the herb chamber and the glass stem. It’s also recommended to clean the glass stem with isopropyl alcohol for a thorough cleaning.

I liked the Arizer I, and I really like the 2.0 version. The battery is long lasting, and the simple operation delivers what I like. Highly recommend it. Looking forward to a very long and happy relationship!

Upgraded from the Arizer Air which I use pretty much daily. Well worth the upgrade!! Battery life is great, nice simple user interface, with flow and vapor quality much better than the Air. I found I had problems with heat, I preferred the bent stem but then found a piece of Da Buddah hose with a mouth piece makes a perfect extension! sorted!😌 City vaporizers service is second to none – as always ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really awesome little gadget. I have had Magic Flight Launch Boxes and an Extreme Q from Arizer before and this is my favourite vape so far.
Cooks really quickly compared to the MFLB, but you use about 1/3 as much product each time. Also cooks really evenly even if it isn’t grinded at all. Battery life is decent and I really like that it can be used while charging.
I feel like it could draw a little easier, can have a bit of air resistance when fully packed, more so than the flight box.
Removing cooked herbs from the chamber can be a little tricky if you don’t have the stick that they give you to go with it.
I really like the case that it comes with. Build quality seems really good overall.
Pros: Looks great. Vapor tastes really good and clean. This thing is efficient as hell, works extremely well at temperatures as low as 170. Good battery life, don’t need to grind finely for it to cook evenly, don’t need to move contents of oven around during use for it to cook evenly either.
Cons: Finely grounded herbs or kief require the mesh to use or particles will end up in your mouth. Can be messy to replace herbs. Smallish oven and therefore needs herbs to be replaced rather quickly. I used to use one trough in a flightbox of a night whereas with this I need to replace 3 or 4 times. Draw resistance is a little higher than I’m used to but nothing major. The auto turn off makes sense from a safety standpoint but is a little irritating, especially since it can only be extended to 15 minutes.
